All of these consoles have been completely reconditioned. The console you see in the listing will be the console that ships out. Whenever a sale occurs, I will update pictures to reflect the current console being shipped out. Due to the increasing cost of YLOD consoles, I may be forced to change the listing's price.
- 40nm RSX has been retrofitted.
- Voltage has been reduced to accommodate more efficient RSX (official Sony way/bd3504)
- Both cell and rsx have been delidded (IHS are not reglued)
- Clock battery replaced
- Board is ultrasonically cleaned (if needed)
- Original thermal pads are cleaned and reused.
- 3d printed cell plug measured for appropriate height and installed.
- RIP-Felix's Tantalizer boards with Low ESR Panasonic tantalum capacitors and MLCC capacitors for added for additional filtering of power.
- Ps3/PS2/PS1 games have been tested and verified working.
- Console has also been stress tested for 3 days.
- Top lid has been polished.
- Comes with 6 month warranty.
- No peripherals included.
- Console comes with whatever hdd I receive with it (usually stock)
- Console is shipped with whatever fan came installed in it. I don't replace fans unless the bearing is dying.
- Console is shipped with whatever psu comes with it (usually zssr). Please keep in mind that the hard drives in these consoles are 20 years old. The first thing I recommend doing is installing a new hard drive. Please be careful when removing the four small Phillips screws in the hard drive caddy. These screws are very easy to strip and I can't supply replacements. Again, there are no cables, controllers or any peripherals included with this listing. This is for just the console itself. These consoles are approaching 20 years old. Almost all of them will have minor scratches on the glossy finish. I've had people return consoles thinking they're getting a pristine condition shell. That is never going to happen. The best I can do is guarantee that there will be no major scratches or missing pieces in the plastic. If you really want a mint condition top shell, I highly recommend delidtool.com. They have both new memory card flaps and top shells available.
