Return & Warranty Policy
Every console I sell is rebuilt and stress-tested before it ships, and every repair is backed by a warranty. Here’s how it works.
All sales are final
I don’t accept returns or exchanges on consoles bought from the shop. If something goes wrong, your warranty covers it.
Warranty coverage
Consoles from the shop: 12-month warranty, starting from the delivery date.
Mail-in Frankenstein service: 12-month warranty, starting from the date I ship your console back.
Blu-ray drive laser: covered for 30 days on shop consoles. For mail-in service, it’s covered for 30 days only if you add Blu-ray drive repair (+$100), since drive repair isn’t part of the standard service.
The warranty covers hardware failures under normal use.
How to make a warranty claim
Email luvbucketsrepair@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the problem. A short video helps.
I’ll reply with shipping instructions.
You pay shipping to me, and I cover shipping back to you. Please pack the console securely, because damage in transit isn’t covered.
I’ll diagnose and repair it, then ship it back.
For mail-in service customers: If a console I serviced fails during the warranty, I’ll repair it at no charge. If I can’t fix it, I’ll refund the service fee.
What the warranty doesn’t cover
Consoles opened, repaired, or modified by anyone else after leaving my bench
Drops, physical damage, or liquid damage
The original hard drive. These drives are nearly 20 years old, so I recommend replacing it.
Cosmetic wear. These consoles are nearly 20 years old, so minor scratches and scuffs are expected and aren’t defects.
